Weft-free tape is a kind of winding tape, the carrier of which is made of parallel glass yarn and pre-impregnated with a special thermosetting polyester imide resin.
The strapping tape forms a mechanical ring to resist centrifugal force to hold the coil in place and replace the metal armature or steel strip.
It can be used for electrical insulation; it can be thermally self-adhesive, has extremely high mechanical resistance, high tensile strength and very low loss.
